Learn safe operation techniques, current regulations, common types of forklifts, and pre-shift inspections. This course focuses on the safe & technical maneuvers of a forklift and does not include instructions on driving the machine. A person should understand the basic concept of driving & maneuvering a motor vehicle including foot breaks, gas pedals, moving forward and backing up.
- Persons must be 16 years of age or older to take this course.
- Manual available in advance.
- Steel-toed boots are required.
- On-site contract rates are available for groups.
