Choose your program
With over 80 programs, we have something for everyone!

Find out the admission requirements
You will need to meet general admission requirements for Selkirk College. Some programs also have their own specific admission requirements. Check out program pages for specific details.
Know your timelines
Your application timeline depends on the type of program you are applying for.
General enrolment
All programs except for Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Rural Pre-Medicine are general enrolment. Applications are accepted approximately 12 months before the start date and are first qualified, first admitted.
Acceptance is based on your application date and if you meet program admission requirements.
Competitive entry
Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Rural Pre-Medicine are competitive entry programs and will have specific application timelines.
Waitlists
Some high-demand programs have waitlists. If you are placed on a waitlist, you will be notified if a space becomes available.

There will be a non-refundable application fee of $40 for domestic students.

More than one program
If you are applying for more than one program, fill out an application for each program you are interested in. You will need to pay an application fee for each program, but you only need to submit one set of transcripts.
Submit your transcripts and documents
You will need official transcripts to apply. If you are currently enrolled in high school, you will also need to provide an interim Grade 12 transcript with your application. Some programs have additional requirements.

We'll be in touch
Once your application, application fee and supporting documents are submitted, we’ll send you a letter of acknowledgement with further instructions from your enrolment officer.
Depending on what you’ve applied for, we might contact you about taking the College Readiness Tool, scheduling an interview or audition, filling out a questionnaire or submitting a portfolio. Once all your documents have been submitted, you'll have to pay a seat deposit to save your spot. This fee goes toward your tuition.
Can't make it to school this year? We understand that sometimes the unexpected happens. You can defer for up to one year. To find out more, please contact your enrolment officer.
