Misoon Jang taught computer engineering in a couple of postsecondary institutions in Korea for 15 years and moved to Canada 2004. She set up an international student agency in Nelson, BC, and recruited Korean international students and also worked as a homestay coordinator for School District #8 until 2014.
She started to work at Selkirk College from summer 2014 as an international student services coordinator. She organizes the international student orientation, basic medical insurance and Homestay placement. Misoon is passionate about providing good-quality services to all international students. She also oversees Korean partner schools and agent inquiries.
When Misoon is not helping students, she can usually be found at her garden in Nelson or at one of the local campsites and enjoying the Kootenay lifestyle!
