RN, BN, MA, GNC(c),CCNE
I am an alumnus of Selkirk College, receiving my diploma in nursing in 1990. Since then I received my certificate and CNA certification in Gerontology, my BN with Honours from Athabasca University, my Provincial Instructors Diploma from Vancouver Community College, my MA in Health Leadership from Royal Roads University and most recently, my Nurse Educator certification from the Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing.
My research interests include interprofessional education, geriatrics, palliative care, principals of instruction and internationalization in higher education.
Although education and teaching take a big part of my time, my greatest interests are truly with my family. I have a wonderful husband, six amazing children and two dogs who keep me on the go. When I’m not busy with family, I find time to travel, garden, snowshoe, read, and practice yoga.
