2017 Student Election for Selkirk College Board of Governors & Education Council
An election has been called to fill the following positions
Terms of Office: September 22, 2017 to September 21, 2018 or earlier depending on program end date.
Selkirk College Board
Two students - Nominations are encouraged from all Selkirk College Campuses & Learning Centres
One student - Castlegar
One student - Nelson
Two students - Members at large - Nominations are encouraged from all Selkirk College Campuses & Learning Centres
If you are currently enroled and in good standing you are eligible to run for these positions. As a student member you will also be able to earn co-curricular recognition for your participation. Either position is a good leadership development opportunity for student members.
Completed forms must be returned to Natasha Makortoff in the Registrar’s Office before closing at 3 p.m. on Monday, September 11, 2017.
Nomination forms can be picked up at the Registrar’s Office or at the Welcome Centre on the Castlegar Campus as well as Reception Desks on all other Campuses or downloaded and printed here.

Campaign - September 12 (11 a.m.) to September 18 (4 p.m.)
Election/Voting - September 19 (10 a.m.) and 20 (4 p.m.)
