The Gathering Place is a specifically designed and dedicated structure which provides a supportive environment for aboriginal students. The Completing the Circle campaign has a goal of $150,000, funds which are necessary to complete construction of the facility.
Donate to the Complete-The-Circle Campaign
As a supporter of the Aboriginal Gathering Place, you will be permanently associated with this important initiative.
All donors of $100 and more will receive a unique memento, a stylized feather pendant carved from elkantler by Dwayne Orvis, a local First Nations artist and musician. The feather has been chosen as it symbolizes many things to different North American First Nation cultures: trust, honor, respect, knowledge and much more.
If you give $10,000 or more, your name and logo will be represented on a fixture within the facility along with a commitment by the college to publicize your support. Your support of Aboriginal students at Selkirk College will also be permanently recognized on a distinctive flagstone wall plaque.
