The 50th Anniversary Student Legacy Award
As part of Selkirk College’s 50th anniversary celebrations, a goal has been set to raise $50,000 for student scholarships and bursaries. This fundraising endeavor provides vital financial aid for future generations of students as the college’s legacy continues. Our community is made up of three generations of Selkirk College graduates with generations more to come.
Journeys Taken, a commemorative book
Over the past 50 years, Selkirk College has grown to where it is now through countless stories ready for sharing. A special edition commemorative coffee table book will chronicle the rich history touching thousands of lives throughout the West Kootenay-Boundary and beyond. Recollections and reflections of students, faculty, staff and other members of our community are shared through vivid photographs, newspaper clippings and other memorabilia alongside captivating tales that are sure to take you on a walk down memory lane.
Purchasing this book today will help us support the students of tomorrow. All proceeds go toward the Student Legacy Award. The book will be printed Spring 2017 and is available to pre-order today.
Ways to Donate
Beyond our current campaign, giving takes many forms and we will work with you to find a way that is seamless for you. The majority of gifts are in the form of cash but each year the college receives numerous gifts-in-kind, such as books, equipment, equities, media and works of art. Selkirk College also appreciates the gift of your time. Read Ways to Donate for more information.
