A celebration of community learning took place at Selkirk College’s Mary Hall as donors and students came together for the annual Bursary Tea.

Recently, Selkirk College held an afternoon tea that brings together bursary donors and the students that benefit from financial aid. The Bursary Tea allows Selkirk College to celebrate community learning and the importance of working together to ensure everyone can access the education they need to pursue the future of their dreams.

Selkirk College officially kicked off its 50th Anniversary celebration at the 2016 Bursary Tea in Nelson with sights set on helping students achieve success into the next half century.

As part of the Selkirk College 50th Anniversary celebrations, a goal has been set to raise $50,000 for student scholarships and bursaries. At the annual Bursary Tea, the 50th Anniversary Legacy Fund was launched as part of the special afternoon that recognized outstanding students.
