Groupwise Notify

Description

A simple "How To Video" on the basics of GroupWise Notify.  GroupWise Notify is a separate program used to notify users of new messages or upcoming appointments.  Covering how to launch manually, automatically and the functions of Notify.  A common question of new users is "Why am I not being notified of new messages".  There are two main reasons that one might not be notified.

1. GroupWise Notify is not running
2. GroupWise Notify is not configure correctly

Starting Notify

Method 1 - Automatically with GroupWise

1. Click Tools
2. Click Options
3. Double Click Environment Icon
4. Check Mark "Launch Notify at startup" Check Box

Method 2 - Manually

1. Click Start
2. Click All Programs
3. Click Novell GroupWise
4. Click Notify

Configuring Notify

1. Right Click the Notify icon in the Windows icon tray (Near the clock)
2. Click Options
3. Highlight the folders you wish GroupWise Notify to monitor. (In most cases MailBox and Calendar should be the two selected items.  As shown on the right.)
