Journey with retired geology instructor, Lesley Anderton, from Tierra del Fuego to the Falklands, South Georgia Island and the Antarctic Peninsula. View the magnificent scenery and amazing wildlife—six species of penguins, five different seals, humpback whales and even reindeer. Learn about the history of the region—Shackleton's expedition, whaling, Falklands war and present threats to the wildlife. This event takes place on Wednesday, November 18, from 7:00-9:00 pm in SEN 113 on the Castlegar Campus. Admission is by donation.
