Making post-secondary education accessible to the West Kootenay and Boundary regions
Across the regions, Selkirk College offers over 70 programs. Colleges such as Selkirk make post-secondary education accessible to their citizens.
Selkirk College continues to offer Adult Basic Education and Transitions Training in six communities, trades foundation and apprenticeship training in nine trades, 1-year career certificates and 2-year career diplomas in 22 programs, 11 associate degrees and University Transfer diplomas, 3 advanced diplomas, and 1 applied degree.
It is interesting to note that the line-up of courses and programs is continually changing to stay aligned with the needs of our learners. This year, for example, we announced associate degrees in Entry to Pharmacy and Chemistry and an associate certificate in Mental Health and Addictions.
