Selkirk International
Taking Selkirk to the World
International students continue to be an important element of the culture at Selkirk College and a reliable source of revenue. In the past year we enrolled approximately 150 students from around the world. For the first time, the College welcomed Saudi students as part of the King Saud Scholarship program.
In last year's Annual Report we announced our first graduates from China’s Nanjing Technical Institute. In the past year, we entered into another partnership agreement in China with the Taiyuan Normal University for English Language Programming.
Five hundred plus students will receive English Language Training in China—opening the potential to transfer to Selkirk College for further English Language training or post-secondary education.
An additional piece of good news was the full Languages Canada accreditation of the College’s English Language (ESL) program for the next three years.
