Annual Report 2010-11
The past year has been one of exciting change and development within the college and in the relationships with our community!
On behalf of the Selkirk College Board of Governors, it is our pleasure to present the 2010-11 Annual Report which includes the condensed financial statements and highlights of the year.

- Experiencing a change in leadership - In April 2011, Selkirk College announced the appointment of Angus Graeme as its new President and CEO.
- Celebrating milestones - The 30-year anniversary of the Ski Resort Operations and Management program and the 25-year anniversary of Selkirk International were recognized this year.
- Meeting provincial labour market demand and supporting regional development - Selkirk College opened its doors to over 11,500 learners over the last year.
- Supporting a fundamental activity - A Teaching and Learning Institute has been started at the college.
- Adapting the programming - Selkirk introduced new associate degrees and certificates this year.
- Expanding outreach of the Mir Centre for Peace - Randy Janzen has been appointed as Chair of the Mir Centre for Peace.
- Building new facilities to better serve Selkirk students - Accommodation for approximately 100 students will be available for the beginning of the 2011-12 fall semester.
- The community: providing Selkirk with project funding support - The college announced the successful completion of the Mir Lecture Series Endowment Fund Campaign.
- Partnering to create a Rural Development Institute - Columbia Basin Trust and Selkirk College announced an eight-year partnership to develop the Rural Development Institute.
- Committing to applied research and innovation - Selkirk College has made a commitment to create an environment of applied research and innovation.
- Financials - The college has received approval for a balanced 2011-12 operating budget.
