Board of Governors

Our Board is privileged to serve the West Kootenay Boundary Region’s only public post-secondary education institution, and we are proud of Selkirk’s 43-year history of success for learners and for our communities.

We take our governance role seriously, and this website provides some of the important documents that guide our governance role.

During the 2005-2006 year, we  adopted a Best Practices framework and have thereby renewed our commitment to effective policies, practices and public disclosure. Each year, our Board reviews the strategic foundation mission, vission, and value statements and strategic directions of the College, and adjusts these, if required, to reflect changing times and resulting new directions.  

I would like to thank all of the students, faculty and staff, governors, donors and community supporters who have contributed to our College’s development, reputation and success since the early 1960’s.
