Shambhala Music and Performance Hall Opens Spring 2012
Selkirk College is thrilled to announce the success and completion of the Count Me In campaign to raise $150,000 to revitalize the existing studio on the Tenth Street campus.
Formerly known as Studio 80, the previous 80 seat space has been transformed into a 108 seat state-of –the-art theatre, with the naming rights going to Shambhala Music Festival in recognition of their generous donation of $75,000 in cash and $25,000 in-kind.

Shambhala Music and Performance Hall at Selkirk College will be the home to all recitals, workshops, clinics and year end showcases for students of the Contemporary Music program. The theatre will be available to members of the community and touring groups when the hall is not being used as a learning centre for our students.
Thanks to the amazing support of our community, municipal, regional and provincial partners, Selkirk College raised $165,000 towards new equipment and a complete renovation of the existing space. We could not have been successful without the contributions from donors listed on this page.
