Quick Camp Update - July 5, 2011:
Below is the welcome package containing specific details for the camp as well as the tentative schedule:
General Details:
The 7th Annual Selkirk Saints Golf Camp is set to run July 11-15, 2011.
Golfers of all abilities, from beginner to advanced, are welcome to participate in this camp. Instructors will provide training on all aspects of the game; short game, long game, specialty shots, mentals aspects, rules and etiquette. All campers will benefit from:
- 24+ hours of on/off course training
- Two 9-hole rounds and one 18-hole round
- Instruction at Castlegar Golf Club, Little Bear Golf Course and Selkirk College Gymnasium - Castlegar
- Virtual computerized swing analysis
- Video analysis
- Mental training, history of the game, strategy, course management
- Specialized swing instruction including tough lies, trouble shots
- and much more...
Instructors:
We have an incredible lineup of instructors on staff this year. Returning as head instructors are: Denny McArthur, Pat Biln, Kevin Nesbitt and Craig Wilkinson; we will confirm assistant instructors and helpers according to enrollment. If you are interested in helping out or know someone qualified please contact Kim Verigin.
Fees:
The Golf Camp offers Day Camp and Residence Camp options. Signature golf balls, tees, a golf shirt and meals are included.
Day Camp - cost $320 ($350 after May 15)
Day Camp operates from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Includes lunch, golf shirt, golf balls and tees!
Residence Camp - cost $520 ($550 after May 15)
The Residence Camp option includes lodging (classrooms in gymnasium), 24-hour supervision, evening activities, and all meals. Residence campers are required to bring a sleeping bag, pillow, foamy, and all necessary personal clothing and toiletries.
