Selkirk Saints Varsity Teams

The Selkirk Saints varstiy teams will compete in the PIVA for volleyball and the BCIHL for hockey. Schedules are listed on the Saints Events page.

Volleyball

The men’s and women’s teams will compete in their 2nd year of league play under PIVA (Pacific Intercollegiate Volleyball Association). The season will consist of home and away tournaments in both semesters with the schedule to be confirmed in September.

Hockey

The Selkirk Saints hockey team will play in the BC Intercollegiate Hockey League (BCIHL). The season consists of a 24 game schedule against teams from Eastenr Washington U, UVIC, SFU, Trinity Western U, Thompson River U and Okanagan College. Club Soccer

Men's and women's club soccer will continue for the 2nd year in a row. A combined indoor/outdoor experience primarily led by students and volunteer coaches, the Saints club teams compete against various community teams in outdoor exhibition games. The winter will be spent competing in the a newly formed Selkirk College Indoor Soccer League. Numbers of participants determine how many teams are formed.
