Each season we seek a number of students to fill work study and volunteer positions with the Saints!
Currently Accepting Resumes for Work Study positions for the 2015/16 season and are always looking for volunteers. Volunteering is a great way to gain experience for a potential Work Study placement next year!
Broadcast Assistant (Work Study)
The Broadcast Assistant will be responsible for the successful set-up and testing of video equipment for all Saints home game broadcasts and assist in the execution of additional game operations tasks. The successful candidate must possess a positive attitude, the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, and be available to work at all Saints home games.
Equipment Manager (Work Study)
The Equipment Manager will assist in practice and game preparation aiding the coaching staff and players to ensure the dressing room and team bench are properly setup for all home games. They will also help with equipment repair issues, equipment storage, team laundry and managing the first aid kit. Other duties may be assigned as needed. The successful candidate must possess a positive attitude, have the ability to manage multiple tasks and be able to work independently.
Game Preparations Assistant (Work Study)
The Game Preparations Assistant will fill a key role in promoting the team and providing a positive game night experience for fans at Saints home games. This duties required of this position include coordination of pre- and post-game tasks including front-of-house management, ticket sales and in-game entertainment. This position is ideally suited for a student in the Business Administration program. The successful candidate must possess a positive attitude, the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, and be available to work at all Saints home games.
Student Trainer (Work Study)
The Student Trainer will work directly with Saints players and coaches, helping with dressing room and bench set-up and maintenance, as well as the organization of first aid supplies and team equipment. Basic First Aid certification is an asset, but is not required for this position. The successful candidate must possess effective communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, and be available to work at all Saints home games as well as team practices and road games where available.
Game Night Volunteers
Putting together a great game night experience for Saints fans involves efforts from a number of key volunteers. The Saints are looking for positive, well organized volunteers to assist with ticket and pass sales, security, game operations, broadcasting and in-arena entertainment.
