Criteria
This award is presented to a full-time student showing extraordinary promise in English, with a particular emphasis on creative writing. Evaluation is based on the following criteria: 1) Originality in theme, style, and content. 2) Handling of the genre(s) in which the student is writing. 3) Proven ability in English. The competition is open to all English and Creative Writing students and will be adjudicated by the English Department.
