Criteria
To a Nursing Student who has completed Year Two Nursing, and may have not yet have completed the spring practicum.
This student will have excellent Nursing Practice skills for a student of this level. During year two, the students are able to practice the art and science of nursing. This student will have shown considerable growth in the advancement of clinical skills during the entire year. This student also has excellent communication at the bedside with clients, as well as peers and teachers. This student has also a good standing in academics. In other words, this award goes to a student who is a good academic student, but excels in Nursing Practice.
