Chainsaw Safety, Maintenance and Operation
Inexperienced chainsaw operators learn basic safety and hands-on work covering essential saw maintenance, correct chain filing procedures and safe cutting techniques. Bring weather-appropriate clothing, safety boots with good ankle support, personal protective equipment, hi-vis, chainsaw and related tools, lunch and water. Chainsaws available.

Fall Protection: Comprehensive
Learn fall protection systems and review the regulations and standards to keep you safe. The hands-on component will familiarize you with the systems and help with problem solving in the workplace. This course covers the knowledge and practical skills you will need to work safely according to WorkSafeBC's Occupational Health & Safety Regulations, Ministry of Transportation standards and other regulatory requirements. You will need to bring the following: Approved safety footwear with ankle support; All weather clothing for outdoor practical sessions; Your refreshments and lunch as you may be in a location where you cannot buy food or anything to drink.
