Permaculture Training Program

Learn the basic design principles & techniques, plus develop practical skills to implement sustainable designs for ecological landscapes. This 4-week intensive combines theory with practical hands-on experiences. Course graduates receive the Permaculture Design Course Certificate.

Permaculture, a holistic approach to land use, works with nature's rhythm and patterns, weaving together the elements of microclimate, plant diversity, animals, water and soil management, and human needs into intricately connected and productive communities. The topics covered include:

    - permaculture techniques & principles
    - observation skills
    - site analysis
    - soil fertility & composting
    - nursery & plant propagation
    - edible landscaping
    - fruit & nut trees
    - forest garden & agroforestry
    - forest ecosystem
    - water uses
    - biological pest control
    - microclimates
    - urban permaculture

Early Registration $1,600 by March 5; $1,800 after March 5
