Paramedic In Industry (PII)

Through a combination of independent study and face-to-face delivery, this course is designed to acknowledge the previous training of paramedics and bridge the gap between pre-hospital practice and occupational first aid. Completion of the Paramedic In Industry course grants Occupatonal First Aid Level 3 equivalency to licensed Paramedics.

The course in an orientation into the expectations, roles and responsibilities of an Occupational First Aid (OFA) Attendant and enables parmedics to increase their career opportunities into a new genre of medical care. PII certification is a mandatory WorkSafeBC requirement for paramedics who intend to work in an industrial or occupational first aid setting. 20 CME credits.
