This is a great course for anyone interested in fly fishing and tying flies. Bring your own fly tying kit. While your hands are busy, John Addison will take time to address the basics to ethical fly fishing and will answer questions the class may have.

Indoor Golf Lessons
Get an early start on your swing to prepare for a new season. Back by popular demand, Denny McArthur will offer golf lessons at the Selkirk College Castlegar Campus Gymnasium. All Lessons include swing and video analysis, and a mix of group and one-on-one instruction. All sessions are open to all levels of golfers.

Introduction to Fly Fishing
Why not join the class with a friend or family member so that you can spend more quality time outdoors? The weekend will spend time both in class and practicing by the water. Learn how to cast and tie knots with instructor John Addison. Participants will need to bring their own equipment: rod, reel, line and tippet. Hooks are not needed for this tutorial but will be addressed.

Suitable for both recreational pleasure and work in the bush (like wildfire fighter training). This 2-day course will familiarize learners with using GPS units (Garmin 62s) and smart phones to set and track coordinates using Google Earth. Get practice outdoors so by the end of the weekend you are more comfrtable exploring the backcountry with handheld devices.
