SNOW 152 Snow Sports Leadership and Communications

A key factor in the success of effective supervisors and managers is their ability to lead and motivate their staff. In SROM 153/SNOW 152 you examine organizational structure, behaviour and communication channels to determine how leaders function effectively in organizations. Through various activities you learn about leadership styles; motivation factors; group dynamics and team building; problem solving and decision-making; negotiation and conflict resolution. You also practice presentation skills, meeting management skills, and time and stress management techniques.
