SNOW 156 Ski Resort Risk Management

This course is designed for people currently working in any capacity, in any type or size of ski area operation.  You will learn to assess and manage the risks ski areas face on a day-to-day basis using actual  case studies and  online discussions about current industry issues and solutions with  students in other resorts across the country.  Topics of study include risk identification and evaluation, risk control, skier and snowboarder safety, legal liability and waivers, workplace safety, administration and documentation, emergency planning, risk financing and insurance.
