Each year, Selkirk College invites exceptional Grade 11 and Grade 12 students to register in our annual high school exam competition. There is $5,000 to be won!
What to Expect
Earn money toward your Selkirk College education at the annual exam competition for students held on June 28, 2019 from 10 to 1:30 on the Castlegar Campus.
These exams are for students of the West Kootenay and Boundary regions only, and are for those students who want to demonstrate their outstanding academic achievements. The tests are designed to be challenging, but at an appropriate level for the students taking them.
Invest in your future!
There is $5000 to be won! A maximum of $1500 in tuition scholarships can be won by any student over a two-year period.
Exams are offered in Biology, Chemistry, English, Comparative Civilizations, Geography, History, First Nations and Math. Students can take up to three exams in the different subject areas. Exams are put together by Selkirk College instructors and are one hour in length.
To register, please contact University Arts & Sciences Instructor Sarah Fawcett by email or by phone at 250.365.1310. Please indicate which exams you wish to write.
