“I find teaching students fulfilling and rewarding, especially when I see their excitement and enthusiasm when they learn a new technique or create a new piece. Even though students learn from me, I am also learning from them and so I find teaching to be inspiring.” - Denis Kleine, Metal Casting Instructor
I graduated in 1983 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a Major in Sculpture from David Thompson University Centre, Nelson, BC. For over 28 years I have maintained an active professional studio sculpting in bronze and stone. From 1991-1996 I owned and operated a fine art bronze foundry in Kelowna, BC.
I have completed several public commissions in BC and Alberta, and my works can be found in private and corporate collections internationally. I’m a member of the Sculptors Society of Canada. I also work Nationally and Internationally in Ice, Snow and Sand and have won and placed in many festivals and competitions. I am represented by Artym Gallery in Invermere, BC and The Lloyd Gallery in Penticton, BC. ]
