I joined Selkirk College in the fall of 2011 as an online facilitator in the Pharmacy Technician Bridging Program. I am a registered Pharmacy Technician with the Alberta College of Pharmacists and also certified with the US-Pharmacy Technician Certification Board. Graduated from Selkirk College and have been practicing in hospital for over 25 years.
My current role as a Technical Practice Leader with Alberta Health Services, Pharmacy Services, provides opportunities to help guide and support pharmacy technicians in understanding and achieving advancements in pharmacy practice by working to their full scope of practice. I support and nurture our profession through various activities with the Pharmacy Technician Society of Alberta and the Alberta College of Pharmacists.
I am proud to be a part of Selkirk’s team that is passionate about assisting students to reach their goal of becoming a regulated Pharmacy Technician.
My spare time is spent with my husband enjoying our children and grandchildren. We enjoy traveling, time at the cabin, and curling!
