I am a contemporary performing guitarist, recording artist, composer, and music educator. Recently, I released four ear training books and eight CDs titled, “Hear It, Sing It,” on Music House Publishing. As well as appearing on numerous CD’s, I have released my third CD by the Paul Landsberg Quartet titled, “Search and Rescue.”
In my 30 years as a music educator, I have taught at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts for eight years and given numerous workshops in ear training, guitar and improvisation throughout North America. As a contemporary guitarist, I have travelled throughout North America and Europe with my own quartet, as well as performed with a variety of jazz and contemporary artists including: Oz Noy, Sheryl Bailey, Roben Ford, Ben E King, Ernie Watts, Mike Stern, Kenny Wheeler, Dan Brubeck, Charlie Haden, Bob Mintzer, Wayne Krantz, Dave Weckel, Lew Tabackin, Gunther Schuller, the Platters, the Drifters, the Spokane Jazz Orchestra as well as the Paul Landsberg Quartet.
I hold a Master’s degree from the California Institute of the Arts, and Bachelors from Berklee College of Music. Originally from Bronx, New York, I currently make Nelson, BC home with my wife and six daughters.I am one of the co-founders and designers of Selkirk College’s Contemporary Music and Technology Program.
