Selkirk College's Inspiring Dreams 2017 annual Gala event will be a night to remember.
Selkirk College's annual Gala takes place on Saturday, November 25 at 6 p.m. at Mary Hall, Tenth Street Campus in Nelson, BC.
Our annual Gala is one of our signature community events where we celebrate the energy, talent and learning of our students with fabulous food, music and a silent auction. It's truly an inspiring evening.
Inspiring Dreams is meant to invoke what is at the heart of the Selkirk College experience: provide those seeking their dream career an opportunity to get the skills, knowledge and training required to succeed.
Community support is a significant factor in helping inspire the dreams of our students. This year, the silent auction will be coordinated by our Advancement Team as we raise funds to top off our 50th Anniversary Student Legacy Award which will create a $50,000 endowment fund for student awards.
As an example of how dreams are becoming reality, the annual Gala is an opportunity to showcase the talents of students in the Professional Cook Training Program, Resort & Hotel Management Program and Contemporary Music & Technology Program. Bringing inspiring community supporters together with those reaching for their dreams is a fitting way to celebrate what Selkirk College means to the region.
