BC Medical (BC MSP) will not pay for all the health care costs you may incur when you travel outside the province, even if you stay in Canada.

Your basic and extended medical insurance will not cover you if you travel to the USA. Medical care is very expensive in America. Purchase travel medical insurance that covers you for the entire time you are in the USA.
