Medical Care

All students must have medical insurance while in Canada.

If you do not have your own medical coverage, our international Student Coordinator will help you register for medical insurance when you arrive at Selkirk College. Insurance for the first three months is available from a private insurance company. After that, insurance is provided by the British Columbia Medical Insurance Plan. The cost for each plan is about $54 per month. You should not pay this until you arrive. *Please note that dental care is not covered by these medical insurance plans.
