Established in 1966, Selkirk College was the first public community college in the British Columbia post-secondary education system. The college is accredited by the Government of BC and is a member of:

Selkirk International has established several articulation agreements with post-secondary institutions around the world to provide Selkrik College students the opportunity to study abroad.
