This award is presented to a student who has completed first year of a two-year diploma program in accounting at Selkirk College. Preference will be given to students demonstrating academic excellence. This scholarship will go towards year two tuition fee.
This award is presented to a student from the Castlegar Campus, in any program, contributing to student spirit and making a positive contribution to the life at Selkirk College, with a GPA of 3.0 as a minimum.
This award is presented to a second year Business Administration student showing financial need. Preference will be given to those who have left home to attend Selkirk College and/or those who are married and/or have children.
The Lieutenant Governor's Silver Medal honours a student who has been registered in a vocational or career program of less than two years duration and have not only excelled in their studies but have also contributed in a positive way to the life of the college or their community.
This scholarship is to be awarded to a student from the Selkirk College Region, with the highest average grade in Grade 12 courses. The recipient will not be receiving other entrance awards from Selkirk College.
This annual Entrance Scholarship is awarded to a high-ranking graduating student of Stanley Humphries Secondary School who will be entering Selkirk College with the intention of pursuing a career in business with preference given to those applicants considering obtaining a designation as a Chartered Accountant.
