Heather Shaw
I learned quickly that being a backcountry ranger also means being a jack of all trades, and I feel the RFW program set me up perfectly for the position.
Heather Shaw, Recreation, Fish & Wildlife alumna, 2017
Kevin Campbell a graduate from Selkirk College
Selkirk’s hands-on approach gets you out of the classroom and into the field more often learning the practical skills required to succeed in this industry.

Chris Groves from Selkirk College
Much of the skills and knowledge that I gained from the RFW course has been in some way or another useful for me in all the various aspects of this job. So I hope the course is continuing to prosper and that students are getting as much out of it as I did.
