The suite of courses required to receive an associate of arts degree in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) are recommended by the Academy of Classical Oriental Sciences in Nelson, BC. They are not, however, a requirement for a TCM credential. Any 60 credits of university courses will satisfy the minimum requirement for a TCM credential. Students choosing alternative 60 credits could potentially receive a liberal arts diploma.
