Katy Hutchison believes people need to “lean in” rather than pull away when harm is caused.

On November 23, best-selling author and restorative justice advocate Katy Hutchison brings her compelling real-life story of reconciliation to Nelson in a Mir Centre for Peace at Selkirk College lecture. In 1997, her husband Bob was beaten to death and instead of growing embittered; she “rolled up her sleeves” and “took part in repairing the harm.”
