Business Administration

Selkirk’s Business Administration Programs will prepare you for a challenging and rewarding career in such areas as: accounting, banking, bookkeeping, customer service, entrepreneurship, financial planning, human resources, inventory control, marketing, office administration, payroll, property appraisal, real estate and many more.

The Business Administration program is completed in two years. In the first year, students complete Business General Studies courses common to both second year concentrations. In second year, students complete the courses for their desired concentration - either Accounting/Finance or Professional Management.
Business Competition
First- and second-year Business students experienced real-life business pressures and friendly rivalry while they competed for best marketing campaign and best business case scenario during the 6th Annual Business Competition held on March 31, 2011.
The Business Administration program partnered with the West Kootenay branch of Habitat for Humanity and its Marketing students created marketing plans/fundraising campaigns for Habitat that may be used for its organization in the future.
