She’s a natural.” Laura joined the Selkirk College Music faculty in 2004 and has been teaching music since 1985. Laura’s Mission Statement Through my teaching I find great joy as I witness my students’ discovery of their most authentic voice. My mission is to broaden their skills and opportunities through the strength that comes with the confidence of vulnerable and soulful honesty. Within the expanse of diverse musical traditions and genres, each of my students is encouraged to freely express themselves, utilizing styles and techniques that resonate with their own unique sensibilities. Laura teaches vocals and ensembles.
