LGCC 099 Leadership and Global Citizenship Citation

This citation is designed to be taken by Selkirk College students and staff who want to develop and utilize their understanding of leadership and citizenship. The citation is offered as an extra-curricular course to compliment your primary program of study, and your service at work and in the community. The citation provides learners with the opportunity to explore leadership from a personal, relationship, community and global perspective. Learners are expected to plan their leadership development and to complete a service-learning project. The citation encourages students to incorporate volunteerism or practicum placement that may be part of their primary program or community work into their leadership development.

Co-requisites:

Taken on its own, this citation is a non-credit course. Taken in conjunction with Peace Studies 202, a winter semester course, the learner will receive 3 credit hours in University Arts and Sciences. Learners are invited to take the citation as a stand alone course or along with Peace Studies 202.

Tuition Costs:

$150.00 payable at time of registration.
