The Advanced Certificate in Renewable Energy Technology is tentatively planned for delivery as a 6-week intensive program beginning in May 2012 at our Castlegar campus. The certificate in Renewable Energy will address a growing new field of study in renewable energy technologies including geothermal, microhydro, wind, solar, and biomass as alternate sources of energy.

The Advanced Certificate in Renewable Energy Technology is a credential aimed at providing a general survey of renewable energy technologies as well as some hands on technical skills for job readiness. Pre-requisites for entry includes at least 2 years of post secondary education such as a trade program, diploma in an environmental technology, a degree in environmental sciences, or related discipline.
