Bio
Keyes has been instructing in the school of Renewable Resources at Selkirk College since 2004. He has taught an assortment of courses in subjects including forest ecology, outdoor skills, environmental law, and avalanche training. Keyes’ professional background is in ecology and terrestrial ecosystem mapping. He is also interested in risk management and backcountry safety and is a professional member of the Canadian Avalanche Association. When not working, Keyes is spending time with his family doing something fun outside.
Keyes graduated from the Recreation, Fish and Wildlife Program at Selkirk College in 1995. He also has a bachelor of science in environmental science from Royal Roads University.
