Program Objectives

As part of the Mir Centre for Peace at Selkirk College, the Liberal Arts Diploma in Peace Studies combines core peace studies courses and peace studies-related courses offered by other disciplines. Students complete two years of university transferable course work in the liberal arts with electives in each semester, allowing the program to be tailored to suit your own unique interests. The program incorporates a service learning component and/or directed academic research.
