Who Should Use The Writing Centre?

The short answer to this question is 'everybody'. The long answer is as follows.

Writing is an act of communication and communication isn't meant to take place in a vacuum. Students of all skill levels use the Writing Centre as a resource: everyone from struggling beginners to accomplished writers who aspire to careers in the field. Even professional writers regularly pester their friends and colleagues for input on their work.

If you're a writer who struggles with issues of unity and organization, it's a good idea to visit the Writing Centre early on in the composition process (ideally as soon as you're ready to begin work). For those who are more comfortable with the composition process, a visit to the Centre in the final stages of writing might be more appropriate.
