Exam Info for Staff

The Disability Services Assistant or Learning Success Instructor will provide exam invigilation services for students who require accommodations. On the Castlegar Campus, exams will be invigilated in room O-010, however, students may occasionally may be directed to a different location.

Procedure

  1. The student contacts the Disability Services Assistant once they know that an exam is scheduled.
  2. The Disability Services Assistant sends an email to confirm that an invigilation exam has been arranged and to obtain a copy of the exam.
  3. The instructor forwards a copy of the exam, along with a completed Instructor's Invigilation Form, to the Disability Services Assistant.
  4. Once the student has completed the exam, it is returned to the instructor. The standard procedure is for the student to notify me, the Disability Services Assistant, as soon as they know when an exam is scheduled. I then send an e-mail to the instructor informing him/her that I am the invigilator and request that they provide me with the exam requested.
