Building a healthy community takes initiative and Selkirk College is placing a high priority on the well-being of its student. With the formalization of Healthy Campus Initiatives, Selkirk College is leading the way in supporting students outside the classroom.

A playful and comprehensive online resource mapping wellbeing resources in the West Kootenay is live at you.selkirk.ca

A mobile responsive web site developed by Selkirk College students and staff asks lively questions on sometimes serious subject matter as it points users to wellbeing resources in the West Kootenay region.

Selkirk College will be able to further support students who have overcome early lifetime challenges to achieve their goals with increased provisions recently announced by the Provincial Government.

Selkirk College aims to support students who have overcome early lifetime challenges to achieve their goals. Current and former youth in care who have aged out of the foster care system and are entering in to post-secondary education may be eligible for tuition waiver, other financial supports along with individualized and peer support at Selkirk College.
