Allie Chown graduated from Nelson's L.V. Rogers Secondary School in 2013 knowing she wanted to go to Selkirk College.
"I had heard really great things about Selkirk College. It’s the local college for where I’m from and it had a program I was interested in attending. A lot of my friends from high school have attended Selkirk also," she says.
What is the best part about studying at Selkirk College?
"There were a lot of great things about my experience with Selkirk College," she says. "I really enjoyed the whole atmosphere of the college; it had an awesome small community vibe. The instructors for the Fine Woodworking Program went above and beyond for all of their students every day making sure everyone had a great experience and felt comfortable. I highly recommend the program to anyone that’s considering it."
