“I found Selkirk College to be a great transition between educational stages in my adult life. It was a beneficial step between high school and the more impersonal experience of university academia".
The class sizes at Selkirk College were small enough to develop personal relationships with the professors that I will continue to maintain throughout my academic career. Due to the desirability of living in the Kootenays and the focus that Selkirk College has on teaching, the calibre of professors that are attracted to the college exceeds that of first year instructors of any university I have been a part of."
In 2009 I was the recipient of Jubilee Medal for Science at the University of Victoria.
