I am a 23 year old Registered Nurse (RN) and although I was not born in the Kootenays, I was raised here for the majority of my life and would call myself a “local”. My interests relate to all the best aspects of the Kootenay area – fishing, gardening, and spending time outside in general.
I grew up in Castlegar, B.C. and attended Selkirk College in Castlegar for post-secondary education. I graduated from Selkirk College in April 2012 with a University of Victoria Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and I was recently awarded the Canadian Registered Nurses Association of B.C. Student Professional Award.
I am passionate about rural nursing and small town living (and playing!) and feel fortunate to live and work in this beautiful part of the country.
