Register for Classes
Have you:
- Met your admission requirements?

- Received your letter of acceptance?
- Paid your seat deposit?
If you have completed these steps, you are ready to register once the registration period opens! Please follow the instructions supplied by your Enrolment Officer.
Please watch for emails from your Enrolment Officer.
Your online student record
To access your Selkirk College student record, please go to: selkirk.ca/myrecord. Your Selkirk College student number allows you to log into this portal. This portal provides one-stop online services including course registration and schedules, unofficial transcripts, official transcript requests and payments/fees and tax forms.
Instructions to login:
Login name: six digit student number
PIN: your date of birth in the following format: YYMMDD
If you need assistance in resetting your PIN, please contact your Enrolment Officer for assistance.
Course Selection
If you need some assistance and information, Selkirk College counsellors are ready to help you with:
- course selection for various educational and career goals
- course transferability and university requirement questions
- course time tabling and healthy workload considerations
- tuition, fees and general financial aid eligibility requirements
- adding and dropping courses and course withdrawal deadlines
- grading systems and implications for university transferability
Online Registration
If your Enrolment Officer has sent information on how to self-register, please follow those instructions. Please reach out to your Enrolment Officer if you have not received self-register information. To check your registration status, log into your online student account . From there, click on “My Course Enrolment History” to view your registration and schedule.

Associate of Arts & Sciences:
All students in Associate of Arts & Sciences programs are required to meet with a counsellor for course selection. To see the types of appointments available and to book an appointment, please see the Selkirk College Counselling website.
The counsellors at Selkirk College are professionals trained to provide a variety of counselling services. Appointments and short drop-in sessions are available at all campuses.
When connecting with us to book your appointment, please do the following:
1. ask for an International UAS registration spot
2. let us know if you are currently in Canada or outside of Canada
3. your preference of a phone or Zoom appointment
Please note that all outstanding fees MUST be paid prior to your registration appointment. Students will not be permitted to register if they have outstanding fees.
All other programs: you will be registered manually by the Enrolment Office.

Need help?
For assistance with online registration please contact your Enrolment Officer by email. Requests for assistance must be received in written format. If you do not have access to a computer, computers are available for students to register online at the Castlegar and Nelson Campuses.
Tuition Payment
Your tuition fees are due on or before the first day of classes: payment options can be found on our website.
Future Communications
The Registrar's Office will communicate with you using the email address that you provided on your application form until the start of classes, when your Selkirk College .edu email address will be utilized. To continue to receive important updates, please keep your contact information (email, phone number and mailing address) updated on your online student account .
